We Gave It Up. Refs Gave It Up.
What happened, Auburn?
Whats with the squib kicks?! Just tell me what the deal with that was. Did that work once, just once?
Fourth quarter, Jacob Hester for a touchdown even though replay showed that LSU didnt have seven men on the line of scrimmage. The Refs should have reviewed that.
Again, another set of downs, 3rd and 3 and LSU back was stopped short. The refs gave them a ridiculous spot. The replay booth did not review the call. Tubby did not challenge. No red flag. What was that!
Just like last year this win is questionable at best.
How did we give up this lead? How did Borges not think to get tricky with this game. how did he not throw every thing and the kitchen sink at LSU. Use Kodi Burns to full potential as a player and a decoy. This game shows exactly what Borges has become. He is no longer the genius, the maverick. He's something else. The question mark of AU football. The Borges of old is gone. This game, the most important of the season proves it. A young star's redshirt wasted. Victory snathed out of our grasp.
And Tuberville. This guy needs to figure out how to challenge. Why, why, why did we not throw a red flag this game. River boat gambler? Wish he would remember that. But the sad part is I'm not all that surprised. That's just sad.
For the record, I love Muschamp

Flemico.....
your wrong placing blame on the coaches. Are you one of the minority alumni that supports Lowder (the cancerous scurge of AU)? No offense but it sounds like it. The problem with the squib kick wasn't the call it was the execution. And should the refs have picked up the flag on the reviewed TD? No absolutely not, but that can't be challenged. Should the pitiful spot have been challenged on LSU's final drive? Absolutely and I imagine someone in the booth got chewed on for that one for not paying attention. But to blame Tubbs for it? He's on the opposite sideline and can't tell if its a bad spot or not. Tubbs and Borges coached a good game and good enough to win. "LESS" Miles is luckier than a 2 dicked dog and you can't coach against luck you can only hope it comes your way. And yes this game was an important game but we have 2 more that are just as important. I hate the fact that fans like you have come out of the wood work to call for Tubervilles head now that he has lost a couple that he shouldn't have. And let me get this straight you're upset we won last year? You were probably one of the fans calling for Cox's head a few weeks ago. I for one appreciate the job that Tuberville and staff are doing at AU. He has (at least for the time being) loosened Lowders grip on the atheletic department. And I don't remember a team under Dye or Bowden that had fewer off the field troubles. And you fail to recognize that Tubervilles record against top 5 teams is amazing, as well as his road record against the SEC, not to mention the last few years only a couple of teams in the country can match his record. But for all of those statistical accomplishments its his ability to run a clean program and defang Lowder that makes him the best coach AU could have. Maybe you would do well to reaquaint yourself with the Auburn Creed.

Hold it right there man. You better know who you're talking to before you accuse them of supporting Bobby Lowder. As for this sideline excuse for Tubbs- bull. The man had quite enough time for somebody to catch it and react. More than enough time to throw that flag. If your saying that by some miracle that went unnoticed during the final drive of that game, then I say that's just negligence. I love Tubbs and have never called for his head so back the f@ck off, his record is incredible. And yeah I did want Cox pulled out of the earlier games. If you want to claim that you saw that kid coming back the way he did than kudos to you. But I wanted us to win those games and at the time all Cox could do was throw picks. Maybe the bench got him throwing straight again, got his head out his ass, cause he's a completely different QB than who we saw our first 3 games. And sorry, but be realistic, LSU away for the SEC West, tell me whats bigger than that. The Iron Bowl, close but not quite. If you don't think Borges has been slipping lately, wake up. "reaquaint yourself with the Auburn Creed" because I question the coaches? Sorry I can be as loyal a fan as you. Get over yourself, dude. It's just criticism, not blasphamy.
the only thing Cox needed was.......
an O-line that would block for him and open up holes between the tackles and yes I and several others said as much during the turmoil. As far as your loyalty to our coaching staff? You have a strange way of demonstrating it. And read your post out loud in a diminutive little voice and see if it doesn't sound like that napoleanic little fart lowder. As far as Borges is concerned go to phillip marshalls blog and read some info concerning the play calling you might be enlightened.
Let cooler heads prevail
Now fellows,,,,,,let's cool down and remember we are all Auburn fans,,,,,,no, make that Auburn family.
I agree the squib kick was questionable, but there is no way Tubs could see the ball on the third down spot. I am sure somebody got there butts chewed out on that one.
I like the clean program Coach Tubs is running and believe he is the best man for the job.
Let's all support our Auburn family.

Chill out
What's with the personnal attacks. you dont even know me. Youre taking criticism personally. I agree that many of Cox's problems were exacerbated by the O-line, but he still wasnt playing up to potential. Now seeing as you know far more than I do, gimme an answer for the Kodi Burns situation. Loyalty to coaching staff is one thing, but to claim that they don't make mistakes or call bad games some times is ridiculous. We lost that game. I'm not going to blame the players because they kicked ass out there. But some one has to answer for a loss and with authority comes responsibility. I'm not saying fire Tubbs or Borges, so chill out. End of story. I don't need to demonstrate my loyalty, I know where it lies. WDE

Sorry for starting my post a little off topic here but..............................
Correct me if I am wrong, did I not here Les Miles comment to the side lines interviewer w/ESPN after the game," We kicked there Ass" and "We mustered them"? Excuse Me, did I miss something?
You are correct that coaches make mistakes but, saying something like that would hardly be a mistake don't you agree? If I am correct on this or, maybe I was just hearing things is very much unprofessional and uncalled for especially on National TV.
Yes, we lost that game but no way did they kick our Ass, or muster us in anyway shape, form, or fashion.
I feel sorry for the LSU Tigers to even have to put up with this man.
As for Coach Tubb, he has done nothing but an outstanding job with our Team. We've come a long way baby over the past 5 yrs.
It's a team effort and that includes the coaches as well.

this guy is an annoyance that everyone in the sec including lsu fans have to put up with. he's a peabrained jerk if he thinks we got our asses kicked and statements like that fuel the more obnoxious elements of the lsu fanbase.
for the record I have been nothing but pleased with tubb's reign here and feel privlidged to have witnessed it. this loss was a hard one, and if you can tell it was not an easy pill for me to swallow. there are things I feel like I would do differently, would that have won the game? no idea but the mistakes made do not call for anyone to lose their job over.
