A quick roll call.
When dealing with fansites and message boards you get to wondering who you are talking to. Arie and I have been friends for a few years, where else does everyone live. We live in the Dothan area, just wondering if we have any fellow-Track Em-ites around this area. I am mainly asking because I find myself waking up on gameday Saturdays, even this morning when we are off and just start cooking different things to tailgate a day of college football.

I once asked the question why are there so many Alabama fans that never graduated from the university? I was told its because their parents were fans and it was passed down.........(my response after a pause).....similar to racism.....?
Washington Sate
…just east of Portland, Oregon. 95 Alum…folks live on Lake Martin.
The sad thing about being out here is the crap you hear year-in and year-out about the PAC-10. The good thing is I don’t have to deal with UAT fans when they have a good year.

Currently in grad school at UGA. Still love my Tigers and hate the Dawgs though. I tell people I support the university (of Georgia) but not the athletics program. Auburn is much better :)

Schweinfurt. Soon to be a much sandier place, though. We get Auburn games over the Slingbox connected to my brother-in-law’s cable in Birmingham. Thank goodness there are some great travel opportunities around here that keep us from staying awake until midnight to watch kickoff, thus avoiding much misery. Getting the updates on Track ’em can be just as agonizing, though.

ball-bearings in Schweinfurt gefunden? (Have you found any ball-bearings in Schweinfurt?)
Any pieces of B-24s?

They still make 'em
Ball bearing manufacture is still one of the leading industries around here. Unlike Bamberg or Wurtzberg, there aren’t too many buildings over 70 years old here. My wife’s grandfather was actually shot down while riding in a B-24 enroute to Schweinfurt. He spent a little time in a “resort” down in Austria. He graduated from Auburn, which I guess makes him a true War Eagle.

…..I can throw a rock from my front porch, and hit the Shades Valley YMCA pool. Not that I’ve ever done that, though! On some YMCA summer camp mornings, when I’m on night shift, I have yelled a few things at the noisy campers that WDE wouldn’t approve of!
…..“We’ve got spirit, yes we do!” Hint: no one on the 11-7 shift has spirit at 9 AM!
Ha
I went to Robert E. Lee H.S.

San Diego
Far away and it’s so disappointing, the Navy’s got me out here in California but plan to retire back in the Mobile area.
As far as places the Navy could stick ya,
San Diego ain’t too bad. Great weather everyday.
