Does Franklin make it through the year?
I think he's out this week. Worst play calling I've ever seen. I feel bad for you guys. Wasting a lot of running talent on Franklin's "Dumb ass". His words, not mine.
Good luck the rest of the year guys.
Gotta waste words now.

I hope so
Fire, Tubbs, Fire Franklin, fire the special teams coach…suspend Byrum, fire the Secondary coaches…revamp our team and bring us back to our War Eagle status! We suck this year…plain and simple.
Tubbs ain't the problem
How are you gonna suspend a player for missing an XP? You’re crazy.

Keep Tubbs
I really think that the firing should stop at Franklin. He’s calling the plays. My only disappointment in Tubbs is that he didn’t step in and start calling the plays himself.
I would be totally behind letting Franklin go
If the power stuff hadn’t worked, that would be one thing, but Jesus H. Christ! I could draw up better plays than he’s done. He doesn’t deserve a penny of what we’ve paid him. Tell-all Tommy Tuberville book in 3…2…1…

Franklin needs to be put on a bus tonight. Headed north!
i am shocked that Tubberville would allow his team to be humiliated like this. The players are so much better than what they are reflecting. .Because of the coaching screw ups they look completely lost. Franklin needs to be let go before he even leaves Nashville . I feel bad for the players because as long as Franklin stays on board, they are fighting a losing battle. Tubberville needs to step up to the plate and make some adjustments. It is afterall his responsibility to see that the coaching staff does their job. I love my Auburn Tigers whether they win or lose. I know nothing much about play calls but have enough since to know that what the coaching staff is doing is not working. I have watched a lot of AU games and have never seen them look as hopeless as they did tonight. That is not the Auburn team I have always known. FIRE FRANKLIN!
FREE us now!!!
I agree, never understood why we hired Franklin in the first place ,the two schools he came from were never in the top 25. Tubbs needs to be the coach after the LSU game I thought he would coach better.
Yes vandy is a good team I will give them that But Auburn is a much better team and the boys do not deserve to be coached like they have been. FIRE FRANKLIN go back to our old way of playing and let’s kick some bama butt
If he fires Franklin he still can't abandon the spread....
So I think he gets a pass within reason this season. But I cannot understand not using the 2 tightend set once you have established that it works. The gameplan should have been flexible once the power game was used to success.
Neither is Chris Todd
Neither QB is looking very good. But it ain’t a QB problem, it’s an OC problem.

What is certain.......
is that Tuberville like it or not is married to the spread. If he ditches it now half of our recruits dont fit the traditional AU offense and even the ones that could do both would likely drop their commitment. So Tuberville I think will stay with the spread which in the long run may pay dividends…..the only problem with that is if he doesnt get it right next year he may lose his battle with the Lowderites.
I have had it with Franklin,,,,,
,,,,,and his lame ass play calling. For some reason, he is determined to call these stupid plays that my wife can see and tell what is coming.
From the beginning of the season, people griped and bitched saying Kodi was the answer. They said that Kodi wasn’t given a fair chance to run the offense. I said the problem wasn’t the quarteback. I couldn’t really put my finger on the problem, in the begining, but I knew it wasn’t the QB. As the season has progressed, I started saying it looked like a Chinese fire drill when we would line up, then look up, and then run around bumping into each other. And what is a Chinese fire drill,,,,,,,,it is TOTAL MASS CONFUSION. Now, the players are coming out and actually saying they are confused.
I have tried to stay positive about this season, but I have had it with Franklin and his mass confusion. It is time to FIRE FRANKLIN and salvage the season.

Nall-Ball
I wouldn’t mind seeing what he can do.
Kodi is not being given a fair shake
“Kodi may be the future……. but he damn sure isnt the present..by Todd92”
Todd92, you are always defending Todd in your posts and criticizing Burns (are you the TODD on the field…, if so you must stick up for yourself, it is okay to hate Kodi so much as he is a better athlete that you). Todd is NOT performing in critical downs. He is being caught and sacked by 300lb guys and many times he has a lot of time to throw and can’t make a decision and moves like waffle syrup! We obviously disagree about QB’s and who should be given the chance to start. Your opinion is shared by our own blackballed “Tony Franklin” and Coach Tubbs. I am not a college coach, obviously. You may be the wise one.
If I thought you, CTT, CTF and the ToddFanClub out there might have a point to argue that his great passing ability was a bizarre trade off with his ineptness to scramble or run the ball, that point was certainly erased on the final offensive play against Vandy. but not to mention the interception vs. TENN. Pitiful. I nice kid and HS QB I’m sure but no SEC quarterback.
I recognize that the problem lies with CTT and CTF. The kids are not given much chance to succeed. BUT, you have a hard argument to make with me to say Kodi is NOT the “present” when he is given NO CHANCE. I can’t say that a good determination can be made based on his play time. I believe his first entry against Vandy was a 2nd and 15 with no one in the back field. For the most part he was not good last night. He did make a terrible pass into the turf later in the game on something that looked kind of like a screen. He didn’t make any magic happen against Vandy. Our offense sucks period. Somehow Kodi has made some big plays in his brief Auburn game appearances like the TD in the Chicken Bowl and the first down to save us vs TN last week. To be fair to that kid he should be given a chance to come in at least a few series in a good situation. He usually performs. BUT no one is likely to be “damn sure he is the present” in the conditions and play calling the Auburn coaching staff is producing in the PRESENT.
I see no indication that anything is changing, so expect the present outcomes to continue. To fix a problem in a computer malfunction you must determine the ROOT cause. AU can’t own up to the ROOT cause so it is likely to continue to crash and burn until we face the truth. Why we run the same plays that have not produce any real positive results in the past OVER and OVER makes me wonder if some one calling the plays is mentally ill.
I’d sure like to see some emotion from Tubbs. It appears he don’t care like the Auburn faithful do.
WAR EAGLE!
Neither QB is worth a crap right now
We could have Peyton Manning running this “offense” and we’d still only put up 10 or so points a game

Never have I defended Chris Todd......
and never have I said or meant to say anything other than Kodi Burns is a very young and very inexperienced QB and that if the coaches don’t think he is the guy yet then that is what it is. I have seen week after week geniuses like yourself calling for Kodi as if he were gonna fix the damn thing. And week after week I have reminded everyone that Kodi is still just barely out of high school. The “Peach Bowl” package that they had prepared for him last season was impressive to watch……all 8 or 10 plays that they gave him to run but I doubt if those 8 or 10 plays would be as impressive once a team figured out thats all he has. I don’t think he is a slow learner or without skills but he is just a kid that has been in college for less than a year and a half and putting him in before he is ready and letting him take the brunt of the abuse from opposing teams and from head chopping fans like yourself could and likely would break him…..it is an all too common scenario in college football. You go back and count how many freshman QBs have started and gone on to successful college careers in D-1 football over the last 25 years and you will find that there are pitiful few. And before you say it Kodi has no more experience than a redshirt freshman which is what he would be if it weren’t for Tubbs bowing to the pressure and burning his redshirt against MSU last season only to prove he wasn’t ready to be the answer. And last of all there have been pitiful few “Good Situations” to insert him this season as you suggest. The only time I see the likes of the “Queen of Hearts – off with there heads Bobby Lowder disciples” is when there are things to bitch about. Your not on here for any other pupose than to bitch and when there is nothing to bitch about you have nothing to say.
