Franklin Get's Fired and Bama Fans Can Barely Contain Themselves

Has anyone happened to wander over to Roll Tide Roll or whatever the hell it's called to read what the bammers are saying? It's funny to me that this fan base, with the most disgusting history of bailing on their own coaches for not being, "The Bear", are now revelling in this, I'm sure very difficult, decision.

How incredibly convenient for them to forget the repulsive history they have of turning on their own staff and center all their efforts and attention on this situation.  It really is completely ridiculous and makes me all the more proud to be who and what I am.

We may be dissapointed in Franklin and semi happy to see him go but atleast we carry ourselves with some form of dignity. And I am proud of our fan base for that. So so proud.

Dignity?

Have you SEEN some of the posts on this site lately?

by LSU Jonno on Oct 8, 2008 4:30 PM CDT reply actions

On ours??

Yeah…I have. And I don’t think they are nearly as brutal and childish. Why do you care though? We already played you and LOST. Is that not enough for you?

by AUFootballSeasonWidow on Oct 8, 2008 4:43 PM CDT reply actions

Let's see...

How many of your fans were calling for Tuberneck’s head (2003, last season, AND THIS SEASON)? Listen to the callers on Finebaum. Read the posts on various message boards claiming “Tubs must go”… How many of your fans called for Tator Tot’s head? How many of your fans called for Dye’s head when he realized he couldn’t beat Gene Stallings? And let’s not forget about Doug Barfield!

You see, we measure our success by what we’ve accomplished, NOT by what’s going down at The Polytechnic Institute of Aufarm. Would Tuberneck have released Franklin if Alabama wasn’t setting at an untouchable 6-0 record right now? Just like last season, after losing to Mississippi State and South Florida, Alabama was 4-0, and the Barnies were calling for their leader’s head. Then, we lost to UGA and FSU, and suddenly Tech doesn’t seem so bad…

The door swings both ways, so please shut your mouth, hypocrite.

by Alabama_Tech_Cowgirls_in_Aubarn on Oct 8, 2008 4:44 PM CDT reply actions

Suddenly "Tech" didn't seem so bad

Because we had beaten top 5 Florida and a good Arkansas team. We had righted the ship.

I am still fascinated that you think calling us API is an insult.

War Damn Eagle!

I think it is cute

that you think what Auburn does revolves around what Alabama does. It makes me smile. Also I like your use of “we’ve” done as in past tense. It coincides with all of your other posts about what Alabama has done in the last 30 years.

However, I am upset that you have yet to answer my question, what year did you graduate?

by GumptownTiger on Oct 9, 2008 9:19 AM CDT up reply actions

Hypocrite?

Why are you even on here? You’ve already offended plenty, Cowgirl! Every damned Bama fan I have run across has blatantly accosted me. I in NO WAY called any AL fan any name that was unprovoked. However, you have done so. And not just to me. You have a long and WELL ESTABLISHED history of making a royal ass of yourself. So why are you wasting your time on here? I WILL NOT SHUT MY MOUTH….seeing as that this is the AU fan page. And you are not that.

You are an insult to humanity and disgust me.

I hope your penis grew a little talking to a woman like that. Does it make you feel like a big man, shuga? Does it?

I hope it does. I really do.

by AUFootballSeasonWidow on Oct 8, 2008 4:48 PM CDT reply actions

Shuga..

You can go ahead and stop using your gender as a means to insult someone else for what they said. Man, now that that’s off my chest, i feel like it grew at least an inch. Yes.

by Bret on Oct 8, 2008 5:15 PM CDT up reply actions

Thanks Widow!!

I love it. You’re all so flustered. haha. The fact that you’re on here crying about our FANS puts everything in perspective. You’re not talking about football or the fact that your Offensive Coordinator was inept. It really makes me smile and I thank you so much for that Widow.

By the way, don’t be mad at someone for being on the Aubie’s Fan page when, in your post, you openly admit to being on ours. Maybe you should just try not to cry so publicly and you won’t make the Alabama nation so blissfully happy. Thanks again.

P.S. I have a sneaking suspicion that there’s a reason your husband enjoys football more than frigid arms.

Bammers will be Bammers

What the Bammer Yahoo’s don’t realize is that now the Tigers will have a legitmate chance to beat the Tide in this year’s Iron Bowl. I really like our chances lot better now than I did several days ago, but there’s still a lot of football left to be played.

by 83Tiger on Oct 8, 2008 6:06 PM CDT reply actions

Really, The Barn has a legit chance? Going back to the old run it up the gut offense that Tubby called “predictable?” Base the offense around the run game and see what happens when Mt. Cody eats up your RB’s like a new pack of double-stuf’s.

by penno on Oct 8, 2008 6:44 PM CDT up reply actions

Mt. Cody???

Oh you must be talking about Lard Ass. Wait til he blows a knee against LSU and the injury bug bites the rest of your thug team. What’s gonna happen when J.P. Wilson goes against a real defense for a change. Same ole J.P. Wilson = Same Ole Results, a Big Loss.

And yes Auburn has the same legitmate chance that we had for the last 6 years. Oh, nevermind, I forgot that BAMMERS have trouble with numbers.

When is “The Process” going to be finished?

we're still the best

these bammers kill me,, they have suck for so long,, they still can’t handle a little sucess. if our school paid players,, refs, promoted drug dealers,, hell we could be 6 and 0 also,,, it wouldn’t matter if we lost every game and and the drug ring won all of theirs. THEY STILL SUCK

by tigertracks on Oct 8, 2008 6:09 PM CDT reply actions

Yeah

great point. Except I don’t think you could pay all the refs in the world or promote enough drug deals to help you win ( how that helps us win I still have no idea ). Good luck with this new found confidence guys. I’m sure getting rid of one dumb-ass really alleviates the problems you have with all the others on the coaching staff.

Hehe...

Whats really funny is that you can trust that if “in the off chance” we beat bama AGAIN this year what do ya’ll wanna bet that none of these bama fans are back on our site come that sunday.

They only come a calling when they see a wounded duck and suddenly they call on the dogs. However whens its them on the chopping block its suddenly because “everyone is against us….” Crazy!

Get this straight Bammers. We are still daddy in this state. We’ve owed your asses for 6 straight years now. Hell 7 of the last 8. And until you can take it from us we will continue to be your elder. Now drag your punk asses back to the trash bag you call the Tider Insider. Don’t forget, going into the last game in 1989 you were undefeated and ranked 2nd too. Looking to play for the National. However by the end of the year you were beaten and looking for a head coach. Karma is a bitch, so just keep on talking shit. Like i say, You aint stopped the streak yet and until you do, you will still remain OUR BITCH.

by Paratiger on Oct 8, 2008 10:52 PM CDT reply actions

when we beat bama this year

Im going over to the alabama site and gloating………….. just straight trash talking whose with me!!!!!!!!!!!

I once asked the question why are there so many Alabama fans that never graduated from the university? I was told its because their parents were fans and it was passed down.........(my response after a pause).....similar to racism.....?

by carlege on Oct 9, 2008 1:52 PM CDT up reply actions

No time like the present.

Enjoy this time of supremacy, Paratiger, et al. The days are slipping past.

When I was in 9th grade, an English teacher kept a poster on the wall that celebrated AU’s 17-16 victory of 1970 (or was it ’71? Whatever). This was in 1978. You people really wore the edges off that one. Forty years from now convalescent homes across the state will be filled with old barnies gumming their oatmeal and reminiscing about the time they beat Bama six years in a row to indifferent generations as yet unborn.

Is this who you want to become? Seriously? Bobby P. and the Pigs are coming to your house. You should be thinking about them. Seriously.

You pat some good boys on the back and you put some to the rod.

by Mr. Kobayashi on Oct 9, 2008 9:32 AM CDT reply actions

Hmmmmm,,,,

,,,let’s see Mr. K,,,,,,,,,it sounds like you are talking about bammers.

No,,,wait,,,,bammers would never talk about the claimed 12 championships or how many times they have beaten Auburn. How many posters to you have on your wall at work or at your house? And of course, boosters or Board of Trustees (Paul “the cub” Bryant, Jr.) would never stick their noses in the football program.

The days may be slipping past, as you claim, but the fact remains, Auburn will ALWAYS be better than bammer. I am sure you will never understand that statement though.

It baffles me

that you compare beating Alabama once ( by one point I might add ) to winning twelve national championships. You beat us that year by less than the amount of national championships we have. I guess Auburn fans think that the Iron Bowl is the new National Championship game since they will obviously never win a real one.

If I had a steamboat I could make it to London in 60,000 minutes.

The Illusional 12 national chapionship teams

i bet they dont really know that some of those are less then legit

do you have your car painted with all the years of the championships? Becuase that is just so cool

I once asked the question why are there so many Alabama fans that never graduated from the university? I was told its because their parents were fans and it was passed down.........(my response after a pause).....similar to racism.....?

by carlege on Oct 9, 2008 1:48 PM CDT up reply actions

I bet you do too

Just a rust filled pinto with a tiny sticker on the back that says “undefeated ’04”. hahahaha. At least our fans have the opportunity to do stupid stuff like that, Freedom is so refreshing. We can do anything we want, lose all we want, and we’re still always going to be better than Auburn. It feels good carlege. . . it really does.

Did you pick up another team this season to be a fan of? Just curious if you’re tired of losing yet. Surely you’re like a Tampa Bay Rays fan now or something.

If I had a steamboat I could make it to London in 60,000 minutes.

Un like you who have not yet graduated from your shool

I Graduated From Auburn, I dont switch schools i will forever be an Auburn fan. In fact i was in H.S. last time auburn won and im sure you were in JR H.S. so Shut ur mouth when talking to me about Alabma being better. We still have a streak. The only streak you have is going to Crappy Bowl games. Season isnt over just remember that

It definitely shows

that you graduated from Auburn. You just proved the point that I was making. You care more about the Iron Bowl than you do about the national picture. It’s sad and hilarious at the same time! haha. You just keep focusing on us and we’ll keep focusing on beating the rest of the nation. You’re an after-thought, a second-rate football team with second-rate fans. You’ve beat us six times in a row and you still can’t keep from being fascinated by us. Why do you think that is?

If I had a steamboat I could make it to London in 60,000 minutes.

by crimsonpride19 on Oct 9, 2008 4:27 PM CDT up reply actions

That's why.....

Bill Curry got shown the door (along with the brick through his windows and threats that included his wife and kids) because the Bammers only care about the national picture and nothing about beating AU. PFFFFFFT. You low class wannabe pious peckerwood.

by Todd92 on Oct 10, 2008 6:48 PM CDT up reply actions

The reference was to living in the past

He was saying it is ironic that the bama fan accused Auburn of living in the past (17-16 poster) when that is an alabama fan specialty. they dont teach you guys reading comprehension do they? That must be the class they replaced with “Claiming old National Championships 101”. a class at alabama presented jointly by the history and marketing departments. Do you need the definition of irony as well?

by GumptownTiger on Oct 10, 2008 3:29 PM CDT up reply actions

Your reading comprehension

,,,isn’t very good. I wasn’t comparing one game to bammers claimed 12 championships. The reference was to you bammers and your constant bragging about anything and everything that bammer has ever accomplished. Do you understand that?

Did you ever stop to think that that game held a special meaning to her? I am sure you didn’t but then again, yo are a bammer.

question

do you mind losing to auburn? if you didnt why would you be on our site talking crap. Inorder for you not to care about auburn would mean you would have to beat us on a regular basis much like a Lousiania Monroe team………….hmmmmmm….. or an……. im sorry i cant think of anyone you have beaten on a regular basis in quite a long time. Central Florida? nope you lost to them a while ago……….

I once asked the question why are there so many Alabama fans that never graduated from the university? I was told its because their parents were fans and it was passed down.........(my response after a pause).....similar to racism.....?

I wouldnt be so quick to be happy about this whole thing if I was a Bammer…Tubb has been known to turn things around quick..the cubbard is not exactly empty and there is still plenty of time for the winds to blow the other direction on the plains. They need to just stay over there and worry about keeping their hired gun happy, cuz at the end of the season..the phones are gonna ring and the checkbooks are gonna come flying out. They’ll be lucky if Saban is there two years from now.
