My Favorite Week
As the title states this is my favorite week of the season. I love the Georgia Game. I always have. When I was a kid, this game was the one I wanted to go to more than any other. As I have grown up it has just stayed with me. Whether it is the mutual respect that they teams have always shared, or the coaches that have the other school in their background (Dye played for UGA and Dooley played for Auburn, etc.) or maybe the fact that it is the Oldest Rivalry in the South and the point spread between the teams is stupidly close… a whopping 45 points separates us after 111 meetings. Or lastly maybe it is the fact that I live in As an Auburn Fan, the last few Georgia/Auburn games at Jordan Hare have been hard to swallow. Maybe this year we will not have the downpour late in the game while getting beat. Or freezing to death and watching UGA make a 4th and 14 completion to win in the final moments. No, maybe the weather will be nice and There are things to be hopeful about: Kodi is growing up right before our eyes. He still has some serious mechanic issues, and I think that causes his passes to be off the mark but he has started moving thru his progressions (some what). He is like an added Running Back. Tommy Trott has become the go to receiver. He still runs routes without conviction, but he has started catching the ball. That is a plus over most other receivers we have. Our Special Teams is looking better. Byrum made a couple of FGs, Tristen is just a good KR. Too bad he could not stay healthy throughout his career. Hopefully Dunn will not make another goof on Punt Returns; I am hoping he just lost it in the sun. Defensively, our line should be back. After sitting out last week, we should have our playmakers returning. Marks, Tez and AC should all be back and ready to play. Maybe we can keep our DB’s healthy. We are going to need them. AJ Green is a stud, and last week Massaquoi finally played a decent game for the Dawgs. Thorpe and Powers are going to need some help; I bring up morning because UGA is much like Personally, with all that has happened in the season, I think that Get your tailgating on early folks… Beam in the coffee or just the good ole Bloody Mary, I don’t care which, just get there and help our Tigers. We need all the help we can get. If the fans are lethargic, the team will be too. War Damn Eagle

Me too...
I have to admit that at the beginning of the season I wanted a win over UGA more than any other win this season. We pick two home games of the season to go to, and this year it was LSU and UGA. I went into the LSU game riding high…knowing that would win…I was wrong. This week I will be going into game praying that we win. I thought last year Georgia would be an easy win, again wrong. This year we need this win, like a starving man needs food. I will be in my seat, or at least hovering over it, watching my Tigers…praying that we beat UGA. Hey guys wonder if UGA wants to wear their black jerseys???
WAR EAGLE….
Like for half the team...
…beating Georgia has it’s own personal meaning, as it does for me, a native. But we should never believe that it prempts beating the Gumps…

No doubt...
I love beating Bama too. Beating Bama is always the best win there is no doubt about that. But the UGA game was and still is my favorite game to attend. Auburn/Bama 89 is of course above and beyond any other game… ever.
If you are a War Damn Eagle, you can War Damn anything.
I'm going to have to start attending games in Athens again...
A) Because it’s closer to me than Auburn is…
B) Because the Georgia fans are pretty nice folk
C) I have some hedges to pick and procure some photographic evidence…

Not Again!!!
The funny part, Zach, was that LSU Jonno and Bammer were over there, and I told them to get back to our site where they belonged…
I guess I’ll have to start hanging out over at And the Valley Shook and RTR now that you guys have put all my sh*t out on the lawn over here…
Let’s all go do a panty raid over at RTR next week. Might be the last fun we get to have this year…

Hmmm. That's an idea...
I’ll post an anti-Alabama fanpost on ATVS and let all the Barners and Bammers come over and mix it up. That could turn out to be the next hot thing in the blogoshere—playing surrogate for a rivalry meelee… It’s only fair, since the Bammers all met over on Dawg sports.
OR……..I’ll post something on the RTR fanpost and you can arrange to have everyone on ATVS show up and run up the commentary. As long as we keep it clean, it should be okay… I’ll probably get banned again, but I’m becoming accustomed to that…
Hmmm. I might even drive some Fanblogs traffic over there…
