Make way for the Bammers

GREAT! Now we get to deal with Bammers on the page telling us over and over how our streak is ending this year. Should make the site a lot more interesting. It’s a shame that they’ve been saying the same thing for the past 5 years (“Enjoy the Iron Bowl win , won’t happen next year”). Last year we were supposed to get lit up, but it didn’t happen. Tide fans forgot that “It’s a process.” Well hold onto your hats Tiger fans because here we go again. According to rolltidejunk its a rather short process (only one season and one top ranked recruiting class). Oh well Tigers at least we were lucky enough to take a couple from them,huh? GIVE ME A BREAK. Season hasn’t even started yet. They haven’t even arrested any of the new recruits (that I know of) and Saban hasn’t even begun denying recruiting violations yet. Let’s watch a couple games before we start forecasting victory Tide Fans. Welcome to Trackemtigers. Mind your manners.

It should make things interesting...

This new format will be very interesting. We’ll certainly have more back and fourth between the schools.

I am not sure...

about you but if all other team fans that come to check you all out and try to open communication with everyone here get welcomed with animosity, lack of mutual respect and no understanding then the new format will not acheive its greatest potential. I hope all others that visit get treated with respect and class that I know alabama and auburn fans have.

Welcome to the site rolltidejunk. Just a little good natured ribbing to make you feel at home. I look forward to hearing Bamas side of things as the season goes on. The new format will make for some great debates.

I don’t know if we’ll get to nine (this time), but like I do every year, I’m hoping we whoop Bama. Thats just how it works.

I am good with that as long as I know in what way the text is meant then I have no problem w/mutal respect for each other and their allegences if everyone in alabama was bama fans then the iron bowl would not be what it is and we would not have anything to keep us going until the season started again.

well..

I am not saying that bama will beat anyone this year. But they will be bigger, faster, and stronger this year. Plus it can honestly be said that the best thing to happen to Alabama this year was graduation. Our team was slow, small and not very athletic. Add to that a bit of laziness and well… you get beat. I read a quote the other day about Nick Saban and it pretty much describes the process.
Nick Saban works hard to recruit players that are bigger and badder to put on his side of the field , then he convinces them to work hard, eventually when this happens he starts to win big.
Nick Saban may eek out a couple of wins against other teams, for the next to years, but after that every time his team plays they will try to win by 50. The man has no shame in running up a score,, and has made it known he will not quit in the 4rth quarter, He will not quit if he is up by 50 points, I remember a few times he let his team score when they could have just ran out the clock.
Alabama will get better. Maybe not now, but dont even try to fool yourself, The improvement will come.
