Who Do You Hate The Most?

Teams that I HATE? Only two: Notre Dame and Miami, respectively.

Teams that I’m really tired of hearing about? A little easier…

1) USC

2) Alabama

3) Virginia Tech

4) Texas A + M

5) West Virginia

1.) Alabama – everything about the program; team, and fans, etc. (hate, but find tons of humor about everything UA, too)
2.) LSU – dirty, raunchy, rude Cajuns who are becoming overly obnoxious
3.) Florida – darn Gator chomp just irritates me to death, and they are also extremely obnoxious
4.) Georgia – took giant leaps in the last few years to this point because this somewhat civil rivalry seems to have taken a turn; the dancing on the sidelines and other shenanigans by the Bulldogs last year left a really bad taste in my mouth; doesn’t help my dad is a diehard UGA fan
5.) USC – their fight song sux, they’re arrogant (but do win), and are located in the L.A.
6.) Notre Dame – OVERRATED for the last decade or so, and still garner more respect than even Bama; I just don’t get it
Tie for 7.) Michigan & Ohio State – both are Big 10 teams who work through pancake schedules, but still want to say they’re SEC caliber
9.) Miami – purely based on their arrogance and accomplishments while growing up during the 80’s & 90’s
10). Georgia Tech – embarrassingly, we lost to Tech both times we played a few years back and I haven’t forgiven them for that feeling of walking out of Bobby Dodd with geeky Tech fans taunting us…come on, Tech?

I only love one team, but there’s a few that I like or sympathize with or respect a lot:

1) Troy State (always felt that they were like a junior varsity Auburn. Know that they would be just thrilled to hear that) And yes, I still call them that. I’d still call us API if that’s what they were introduced to me by…

2) GA Tech—Because that was the school I was going to attend until I found out about their dearth of women…

3) Nebraska—Any time a team runs the rock like these guys have done through the years, I hold a special place in my heart for them…

4) Michigan—Still can’t get that fight song out of my head…

5) Army—what can I say? 30-year Army brat. always have to root for them to beat the squids…

1A. Auburn (Everyone has obnoxious fans, but Auburn has obnoxious people who are either paid by the university or represent the university, which is obvouisly much worse than obnoxious fans.)
1B. Alabama (needs no explanation)
2. Florida (Im not a big fan of Urban Meyer, his recruiting tactics are really starting to irritate me)

If other teams’ fans want to come on and spar with us, we should welcome it as long as they’re polite and respectful. Same goes with us going to their blogs.

Just because you’re among homers you don’t have the right to be rude to people. I’m not directing this to anyone in particular, but just mind that what you say reflects on the program—even on a little old sports blog…

......Nine out of ten. Occasionally, I get along with a Bama guy, and my dad did graduate from there. So I just substitute Bama Jr., over here in Birmingham.

1. alabama – Because they are still delusional enough to think they are better than every one esle.(lower case used on purpose)
2. Notre Dame – The most overrated team in history. With media’s help stole several National Championships from SEC.
3. Miami – A yankee team located below the Mason Dixon. Also I still havent gotten over 1983 larcency….. “Miami My A…... Auburn # ! ”
4. UGA – Just moved up from my last year’s #7 due to their lack of class with their impersonation of a Miami coached team. Umm , where did Richt play college ball ?
5. Any Big 10 Team – Because of decades of biased northern media ranking them ahead of better SEC teams !
6. Any Pac 10Team – Reason , see # 5 above.
7. LSU – Obnoxious , Crude , Rude , Cajuns !
8. Fla. – Its fun to be a Gator Hater.
9. Tenn. – Still remember the intense rivalry we had when we played every year.

1. Alabama,of course-Even though some of my best friends are bama fans and are not complete jerk offs, the majority of their fans are, at least the ones i’ve encountered,such as the loyal fan who pelted me in the face with a shaker after last years Iron Bowl.
2. UGA-A few years back they wouldn’t have made this list. The rivalry always seemed a lot more friendly than the Iron Bowl, but recently the level of obnoxiousness by both the team and its fans has risen drastically. I hope all the drunken fights, public urination, and property damage help you guys out in getting to the NC game.
3. Florida-The hate for the Gators comes in part from always being a good team; another part is Steve Spurier and Urban Meyer, and of course the fans. I had a lady tell me that her and her husband were spat on by the student section when they attended a game in Gainsville.
4. USC- Sick of hearing about them and of them being constantly ranked near the top of the polls. And the losses they handed to us a few years back don’t help much either.

7. Notre Dame- A team that sucked as bad as they did last season deserves zero televised games.
8. South Florida- Because i faked sick to get out of work to the game last year,only to see the Bulls win. Damnit.
