I like it

I’m so sick and tired of all these lil nancy’s coming on the auburn sites and on talk radio shows (finebaum) saying how something is wrong at Auburn, or that the kids are against each other. All because one lil 18 year old kid had to get straightened out by an upper classman because he wasn’t working hard enough or because our linemen got too physical. Its FOOTBALL not soccer. These kids didnt show up to practice in their ballet shoes and leotards. They showed up with fire in their bellies and helmets on their heads. I personally want them to be as nasty and ugly as i can get them. Sure fighting each other probably isn’t the best formula, But the intensity that caused them to go that extra mile against one another is exactly what we are looking for in our athletes.

Zeimba is a beast and a mean one at that. He is exactly what we need in an offensive lineman. He will only make the others better. you know, Living by example…. that includes the defensive linemen as well. Forcing them to go against better, stronger, meaner competition everyday. The fact that they would be getting into fights is simply a matter of the guys working their butts off coupled with the fire they have for the upcoming season. They don’t hate each other, There isn’t a split on the team, nor is there anything behind the scenes that the coaches just aren’t talking about. Its simply gifted athletes going full speed in a contact sport, and the aggression gets the best of them.

The only problem i can see with it is that coaches should make sure that it doesn’t cost us a penalty. Meaning that they keep their composure during the actual game. But fighting at practice…. Come on. Its gonna happen. I for one am glad that they are going at it that hard during practice.

Love the new poster!

Best I Have Seen

Ziemba has the best footwork and mechanics that I have ever seen. Sure he’s tall but he’s lean to boot. Best I’ve seen in a while! I say let em fight! It’s bout time to punch somebody in the mouth. Poor ULM!
