War Eagle! The Season Is Almost Here

We are rounding the corner folks. It seems like I spend almost my entire work day ingesting anything Auburn in preparation for this season. I came across this online yesterday. Most of you have prob already seen it, but for someone who wasn't alive in 1972 this is as close as I can get:

Also, I've sort of started my own tradition the last few years as AU football gets closer. I know everyone has seen these articles, but I like to reread 'em right before each season. Gets me fired up for home games and makes you appreciate how great it really is to be an Auburn Tiger:

Those are some good...

…..links! I’d seen the Amazins one, but it was worth a re-visit. Most of that year was on the radio, and frankly, we were a pretty boring offense to listen to. Or maybe Gary Sanders was boring. Or maybe my attention span at that age wasn’t so good… I didn’t appreciate the season till the blocked punts, and it was nearly over. We did spend a good holiday afternoon going nuts as the Tigers crushed Colorado in the Gator Bowl. What a D!

……And the other two links have me aching to head down. It’s going to be a LONG two weeks!
