Farewell Track 'Em
I have decided that it isn't necessary to read or post on this site for now. I just cannot stand all of the negativity. No one is giving the offense time to come around, and it's pissing me off. I cannot imagine what would have happened to Florida if they had canned Meyer and his offense after a year......We were beaten by a better team plain and simple.....Goodbye fair-weather fans

Lee Zimba
i agree completely, but what is bothering me is that Lee Zimba seems to be causing alot of the penalties not to mention letting that guy fly by him on that 15 yard loss play that i think caused us to lose the game ( although that can never be proven but i think our chances would have been better. ) He seems like hes having trouble and is jumping alot. Is anyone else seeing this too?
I once asked the question why are there so many Alabama fans that never graduated from the university? I was told its because their parents were fans and it was passed down.........(my response after a pause).....similar to racism.....?
I AGREE!!!
I used to love this site…now it’s nothing bunch of Bammer-style fans bashing everything they can about this team. One reader even posted a complaint that the defender was ALMOST TOO CLOSE to Dunn when he caught the touchdown pass, and that it was Todd’s fault. Seriously, cheer for Bama. I’d much rather see you over there.
Even More Reason to Stay...
We have a good mix of positive and negative. The world of Auburn football is not ending. We need the positive voices here, but I can appreciate the critical as long as it’s objective. I certainly value each of your opinions and I’d hate to miss out on your views. I hope you’ll reconsider. We need you here at Track’em Tigers. Keep up the good fight. War Eagle!

Oh, there's always debate,
…..when you lose. There are always reasons. We Auburn Tigers hate to lose. And when we lose, there are negative comments, even on the expensive pay boards. Whether ANY of us armchair quarterbacks know how to fix it, I have no idea. I have no DOUBT that Tuberville and his coaches will have a plan. Frankly, the negative comments DO show that people care. And of course, anyone who can take a minute to create a screen name can comment, here. It’s not a pay site!
…..Both teams showed me A LOT in this game. It definitely WAS a clash of SEC titans!
Um, thanks for letting us know?
Positive or negative, a blog is what it is…an informative site done by regular ole Joes where others can join in in sharing their thoughts. Now correct me if I’m wrong, but this isn’t exactly a exclusive club where people have to post “happy thoughts” all the time. As Acid Reign said above, fans hate to lose and we Auburn folks like me and you need to vent. Does that mean we’re “Bammers” because we’re being negative or criticizing our team and coaches? HELL NO!! So ArieGold, if you can’t take the negative musings of all of us crazy, nut-job Auburn fans then by all means walk out that door (figuratively, of course). Your attacks of calling anyone who might have an ounce of criticism equal to a Bama fan is as unecessary in my eyes as our negativety may be in yours. Chill out, leave or do whatever else makes you feel giddy, Arie. I just find it amusing that you must post your farewell to grab one last glance of attention before leaving. Hope you got what you were looking for with these comments. (then again, shouldn’t you not be checking this site again?)
As a side not, I for one enjoy this site thoroughly because it’s real. This is by far the #1 place I go to for all that is Auburn football. It’s a blog by fans…for fans…and we all make this thing work so well. Many thanks to Jay and the other guys for keeping this place rolling. Thanks for the freedom to let us be fans, guys!
Well if you can't take constructive critisism....
Its probably good you do leave. Yes that are some folks on here that complain for no reason or want to fire Tony Franklin, to that I say, who cares? Its America, let them have their say. I do think there is a lot of good thoughtful critisism on here though that needs to be heard.
You say what if about Urban Meyer and Florida? Arie, they had the tools to run the offense except for the pounding running back and in the spread what is most important is having a quality QB and WR’s, something we don’t really have. Besides, they aren’t really beating good defensive teams. Thats not to say we can’t run the spread, I just don’t think we will excell at it given our current talent pool and I really think its a shame to waste a season to prove it. CTT said we would use the spread between the 20’s to move the ball down the field and then run a more conventional offense in the red zone to improve the effectiveness of the run. Wha’happened?
On what day did the Lord create Bear Bryant and couldn't he have rested on that day too?
Arie you should.....
take a deep breath. Its not that serious and this is still the best forum I have found for AU faithful. Yes it is a little obnoxious that some posters on here only show up when they want to bash and call for heads (be it the QB, OC, or Head Coach, etc..) but this is a public forum. So stick around and help balance the site other wise the only people left will be the ones who don’t have anything to say but “off with his head”.
No Doubt!
These pissy lil fans and their problems with this offense is ridiculous. And completely unbased on anything. 4 Games and everything should be going huh? “we’ve had 4 whole games to get prepared for LSU with this "Radically New Offense”. Its time to fire the coaches responsible." That has got to be the most asinine statement ever!
Why don’t ya’ll slow your roll and give it time.
Well...
I will go ahead and tell you my thoughts on this one. Most top 25 teams, come into the season prepared to play and most of their offenses hit the ground running and putting up points, yet year after year Auburn seems to miss that boat entirely. For this, I say that Tubberville and company doesn’t do his job well before the season starts.
As for calling for Todd ad Franklin’s heads, I disagree. I think Todd has improved with every game and I think that he actually played well Saturday, especially considering he was playing a top 5 to 10 defense. One pic was a bad throw while the other was probably just a bad play call that ended up just as good as a punt.
