Kentucky QB Hartline out for Auburn game with MCL tear
According to ESPN's Chris Low, Mike Hartline suffered the injury in the Wildcats' loss South Carolina on Saturday. While you never want to see opposing players get injured, the reality of the situation is that Kentucky will be bringing an inexperienced quarterback -- either junior Will Fidler or freshman Morgan Newton -- into Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday night. Fidler has attempted 31 passes in his career, and Newton has yet to throw a pass for UK. My guess is that we will see a lot of the Wildcat (surprisingly fitting in this instance) formation with either Derrick Locke or Randall Cobb running the formation. I haven't seen much of Kentucky this year, so I don't know if they feature a Wildcat look; I would be willing to bet that they would install it if they don't have one with Hartline now out for the season.

I read today from an article listed at Mr. SEC.com that they think the wise choice is to play Cobb not at QB, but rather at someplace where he can get a lot of touches, like WR. He does play wildcat, however. But he seems to be their last bullet, as it were, and they are loathe to get him too beat up at QB for a whole game.
But none of the alternatives looks too good. Maybe Fidler.
Bummer
about the injury. As if the Wildcats needed something else to go wrong this season.

Yeah...
They seem to be having some more rough times. I think their season is in that free-fall mode that nobody likes and everybody who loves that said team suffers the entire season. Damn. I’m sorry Kentucky, but I don’t want you guys to get better against us either.
Trevard Lindley is out for the Auburn game as well
Our season is headed into the pooper quick.
First time I shot her, shot her in the side.
Hard to watch her suffer, but with the second shot she died...
