Going to homecoming
Hey guys, I am going to the game on Saturday, this is only the second AU game I have ever been to. The first one I had to hurry and get to the stadium like 5 minutes before kick off, but this time I have the day off. Its a 3 hour drive for me and I plan on leaving at 5:30 am. So if you were me, and my wife and 3 kids,(13,11,10) How would you spend the morning in AU? I know I want to go to tiger walk for sure!!!

Spend time up around Toomer's Corner...
Take them to all of the bookstores and buy some over-priced souvenirs. Tiger Rags, J&M, Anders and Auburn Art are all within walking distance. And don’t forget to stop at Toomer’s Drugs and buy some lemonade. There’s also plenty of places to eat. But you are right, don’t miss Tiger Walk. It will start at roughly 10:30 CT, but I’d get there a little earlier. Enjoy!

Toomers is a must, here are some others:
Samford Hall (where I got engaged), Johnston and Malone Bookstore (J&M), Tiger Rags, Haley Center (my favorite bookstore). You can hit Haley on you way to Tiger Walk. I would also try and go by some of the older buildings on campus. Always good to see where all of this stuff came from. Go over to the colisseum and see if there are any gameday activities going on and see the new student dorms, those are really nice. After the game head over to Momma Goldbergs for a beer (if you drink) and some momma’s love. You won’t be disappointed. And please take a football to throw. I see so many people tailgating these days and no one throwing football. That used to be my favorite thing about tailgating. I guess I’m just living in my past, but when I have a son of my own one day we’ll be tossing a football around while he pretends to be one of the players whose on the team. Good times.

Will for sure be going to toomers, and J&M, Tiger Rags, and all that. Just want to make sure that all the places I carry them are appropriate for little eyes, you know. LOL. Gonna get them some stuff at the game and hope some of the players come out after the game with their autographing hands on. LOL
Anywhere
you go will be alright. The worse they will be exposed to are some folks drinking adult beverages and hollerin War Damn Eagle.

Athletic Complex
If you have time, hit the Jonathan Bell Lovelace Athletic Museum and Hall of Honor. Your kids are at the age where they should really appreciate Auburn athletic history.

Ag Day
They have a large array of displays from Alabama businesses and samples of food. There is also an area for kids to play. The pep band and Aubie usually make an appearance. My kids really enjoyed it.
