Stats at a Glance

SEC rushing leaders, through this past weekend. Remember that the rushing crown is based on per game average, not total yards, as a team bound for Atlanta would have two more games over a team that doesn't qualify for a bowl.

On Saturday, I was commenting to a friend that Auburn can't return a punt more than three yards. Although I thought I was exaggerating, it's eerie how true that statement really was--dead last in the conference with a 3.4 yard average.

That punt return stat

is just sad. Even those bookworms at Vandy found time to return their punts a little more than us.

Punt Returns

We gotta fix that before Bama. Field position is going to be critical if we plan on staying in the game. Hopefully we can pad that stat a little against Furman. If not, we know we’re in big trouble.

wow

not one LSU running back is on that list

did not see that coming, thought one of their guys would at least average 60 a game

I am not shocked....

but only because I have watched LSU not utilize their leading rusher from a year ago (Charles Scott) in almost every game. I am still baffled that they have had him lining up at FB and used him primarily for a blocking back……but then again it is a “Less” Miles coached team. On another note its gonna be interesting next season with 6 of those 10 being seniors this season…and yeah Bama has to be happy that Ingram is a true sophmore and is back whether he likes it or not.

I would have gone to bammer if my grades hadn't been good enough to go to AU

Talent at RB

is about to become a conference wide thing

looking at the young guys getting touches now, and all the RB talent coming in to various schools, the rushing title in the SEC is gunna get really interesting
