Saban or Meyer

Due to the firing of Charlie Weis at Notre Dame they're is a coaching vacancy at a big time program. Already many names have been surfaced and two names happen to be current big time SEC coaches. Nick Saban and Urban Meyer. Meyer was one of the first names along with Cincinnati's Brian Kelly. Nick's name has since then arose on some college football forums. Even though these names are just speculations it brings up an interesting topic. Which coach would you rather see the SEC lose, Urban or Nick? Recently Nick Saban has accomplished turning Alabama into a powerhouse that they once were. Everyone should know the success that Meyer has given Florida. So vote which of these scenarios would you prefer to happen?

Is this thread really necessary with WEA's front page post?

And, in a related story, this week marked the 5,000th performance of the Broadway musical "Cats." It also marked the 5,000th time a guy turned to his wife and said, "What the hell is this?"

My bad,

All I saw was where he mentioned Brian Kelly in the article. Plus I though it would be nice to see how people thought about arguably our top two SEC coaches leaving.

Brian Kelly seems like a good fit for Notre Dame.

Over at Dr. Saturday I saw where one commenter thought Tommy Tuberville would be a good choice. I don’t think ND is ready for a Southern man, heh.

I don't think

that Tuberville would want that much pressure on him. He doesn’t want to have to be out constantly recruiting, he would rather be duck hunting.. haha. I think he would go to a smaller school so it wouldn’t be a ton of pressure.

Jim Harbaugh?

I’d have to think that the standards for accepting football players at Stanford must be close to those at Notre Dame, since that seemed to be part of the Weis problem. Not to mention, Harbaugh’s a guy you know can beat USC, which I would think, is pretty important to ND.

See: Ty Willingham

Upon moving to AL, I let my wife decide who she would root for. After one day at a new job full of Bama fans, she met me at the door with a hearty cry of "WAR EAGLE"

Well.

He would be a decent hire for a okay team. But notre dame will want the best there is. Plus buffalo hasn’t done too good this year.
