Dyer Commits to the Tigers

Michael Dyer has commited to Auburn.  We shall see if it sticks until National Signing Day or not, but it is a start. Hopefully some of the other will follow suit.  Here is the Goldmine report.

I wonder if this face was on Coach Chizik's face this morning.

War Eagle, Michael!

Welcome to Auburn!

And, in a related story, this week marked the 5,000th performance of the Broadway musical "Cats." It also marked the 5,000th time a guy turned to his wife and said, "What the hell is this?"

I saw that Recruits are a big part of recruiting now.

So, I wonder if that means this will cause our recruiting class to pick up some serious steam. Mind you, I’m not saying it’s going badly at all. I’d just love either Lattimore or Seastrunk, or both. Hell, who knows, we might even pull in Trovon Reed as well. Nothing is over yet, those guys haven’t committed yet, and Trooper Taylor can really recruit with the best of them. Curtis Luper is a fantastic running backs coach, i.e. Ben Tate. I think all three should come down to the plays and assemble the best running back core ever in a college backfield!!! We just need to keep pushing. I love this new mentality. I’m just hoping people can deal with next year if it isn’t so great. We’re recruiting greatly right now, but it takes time for those guys to make difference. So, just give them that necessary time.

Then again

Seastrunk and Lattimore are right there with him. Come on down to the loveliest village on the Plains guys.
