The 12 SEC Days of Christmas

12days_lg_medium

On the 12th day of Christmas, the SEC gave to me:

TWELVE schools a plenty

ELEVEN assistants fired

TEN bowl invitations

NINE secondary violations

EIGHT  badly called games

SEVEN top-ranked recruiting classes

SIX  Slive warnings

FIVE LAST SECOND WINS...

FOUR Clock mismanagements

THREE Armed robbers

TWO Jimmy Sexton renegotiations

ONE Heisman trophy

And ZERO coaching changes for me...

Let's make it...

Ten Bowl game wins.
After hearing all the malarkey this week of the SEC being down, and playing small schools this year, and such.
I would like nothing better than 9 or 10 victories in Bowl games.
Good luck to all our SEC brothers.

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you. Remember the true meaning and reason for this holiday season. God Bless.

This is lame.

It makes me sick to read all this “SEC brotherhood” bullsh**. I’m not an SEC fan. I’m an AUBURN fan. I HATE the other 11 SEC teams. Hook ’em Horns, Gig ’em Aggies, Go Lions, Go Clemson, etc. etc. etc.

"We're at AUBURN. I think that says it all. We're going after the best in the country -- no matter when, what, where, how. That's how we're going to do it. We're going to work really hard to try to get that done every year -- including this one." -- Auburn University Head Football Coach Gene Chizik

So

you would like to see the SEC suck it up? So we could be a laughing stock conference? I want the SEC to dominate every team they play in the bowl games. I am an Auburn fan, but I also want to see the fellow SEC teams to be successful. Yes I want Auburn to still be the best though. Now you could make an argument about the Heisman. That is just an opinion, I would probably agree with you. But I think we should respect our other SEC teams. I am not going to root at all in the championship game however, as both outcomes have pluses and minuses in it.

You expect me to RESPECT alabama?!?!

That will never happen. You can’t possibly tell me they are running a clean program over there right now. I don’t respect cheaters.

I

Agree they probably will get caught with tons of recruiting violations. But they are in the SEC. You don’t have to respect bama but accept that they are being recognized as one of best and are getting away with cheating. Which makes the SEC even more admired.

LOL

How is that good?! In the end it’s just going to make the SEC look crooked and dirty. But that’s how things HAVE ALWAYS been done at s.p.u.a.t. No surprise there.

And to actually celebrate that TRAVESTY of a Heisman trophy is absurd.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J.
