Snow Falls On The Plains...

…..up here in the Tragic City! I got up late, about 9, and headed outside for my Sunday paper. Snow! We got an inch and a half, possibly two inches, just south of Birmingham! I got to put the first foot prints on the yard, in my bare feet, looking for the paper! There’s nothing like the scrunch of snow on your bare toes! The paper was there, but I didn’t find it till the snow melted, this afternoon. Couldn’t sled, because the snow never stuck on the street. Power stayed on, too. Can’t beat that! It’s been a LONG 8 years since we’ve had any measurable snow here in Birmingham!

……Hail to another Auburn SEC Championship team, the Auburn Tiger Women’s Basketball team! They DESTROYED Arkansas, today, to take sole possession of the regular season title. War Eagle!
