Around the Auburn Nation and the SEC
Auburn's Five Guys doesn't have palm trees, but the burgers taste the same.
Perhaps the biggest news to hit Auburn in recent weeks is the opening of Five Guys Burgers and Fries on College Street. Tonight I finally had the opportunity to taste it for myself. One word: Unbelievable. It's without question the best hamburger on the planet. There's really no need for discussion. The next time you are in town, point your car in that direction and don't stop until you have tasted the burgers and fries. You'll thank me later.
Around the Auburn Nation today brings us several good stories including articles on the Auburn quarterback battle and coverage of Tommy Tuberville's recent trip to the Middle East. The Auburner does a hilarious clip on booster Bobby Lowder and the Orlando Sentinel looks at Florida's legal problems....

Great Thying About Five Guys...
They have no freezers! Freshhh. Also, With the Scrabinsky article on the textbook issue, a lot of Alabama fans have come out against Mal Moore and I can’t blame them. It seems as though the ONLY reasonable thing he’s done to the U of A is weasel a coach from the Miami Dolphins. Apparently football was the sport least involved with the scandal, but who knows. If you didn’t notice, we’re not big into our A.D. either.
The thing about Scarbinsky's article...
Is that it grossly resembled that of Finebaum’s column today about Tubs being at the root of the latest Bama rumors: If you throw out absurdly rediculous statements, even though you have NOTHING to back it up with, you’ll get a response. Response = Ratings = Money. All Scarbinsky said was something to the effect of, “What if I told you that 200 students were involved…”. Followed by, “That’s my understanding…” Hardly relieable, and even if it is true, it will be the result of an incredibly lucky guess, because I guarantee you someone like him will not be the first to break the news. All that was meant to do was get a response, and he undoubtedly got it.
