Speaking of tags, the state of Georgia vanity tags for Alabama start with the letters ‘RT’, then a four digit number. I guess Jawja didn’t have their act together when they first did ours, as we were the first team to get our vanity tags. Instead of ‘AU’ or ‘WE’ ours begin with ‘TZ’. Sounds like an entertainment channel…

I've wondered the same thing.
South Carolina got it right for us. The AU tags there start with “WE.”
