Most Inspirational Moment
Watching ESPN's run up to the game, I was thinking about the most inspirational moments this season, Auburn or otherwise. I think my vote has to go to Paul Rhodes lockeroom speech after Iowa State's win over Nebrask a. Yea, I know, it's a little contrary to Auburn, but what pure passion. You have to be happy for that guy. Unfortunately, Tim Tebow didn't give us any automatic winners this year. Any other ideas?

Rhodes should send Chizik a thank you note.....
for the talent he inherited and for Chizik playing so many of his freshman in the two years he was there. Without Chizik’s recruiting and use of the freshman to get them the experience Rhodes doesn’t sniff a bowl game or get the signature win. Just Sayin’.
I would have gone to bammer if my grades hadn't been good enough to go to AU
I don't disagree....
but I feel l like Rhodes kind of got the shaft at Auburn. Hired in following a popular and successful DC in Muschamp, did everything that was asked and more, and promptly got fired. I’m happy for the guy in finding what I think is his dream job and having success, regardless of where the talent came from. Maybe he does owe Chizik a thank you note, and he will have to recruit his own folks here on out, but it felt good to see him succeed.
I agree and I like Rhodes as well....
he did a good job as DC there was nothing wrong with AU’s defense in 2008 other than having to stay on the field and being constantly put in bad position by the offense.

Rhodes was one of the few assistants who earned his money ...
… at Auburn last year. And one of the very few that anyone wanted for any reason after it ended. And the only one that got a promotion when he left. The law of supply & demand at work folks. The market don’t lie — not for long anyway.
He’s proven himself as a DC. Time will prove if he can make it as a HC … but, for the most part you have to play the cards you are dealt (the first year) … and, he played ’em pretty damn well, it seems.
Kudos to Coach Rhodes.
