Malzahn Tells Louisiana Tech He's Not Interested
As expected, Louisiana Tech officials (through a search firm) reached out to Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn today to gauge his interest in their head coaching job. Tiger fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Malzahn told them he's happy at Auburn.
"My family and I love Auburn,'' Malzahn said in a statement Monday. "Coach Chizik is an outstanding coach to work for, and Auburn is a great place to be both professionally and personally.
"I'm excited about the future of this program and helping Auburn build on the foundation that Coach Chizik has established the last 13 months."

…and I’m looking forward to All of this years coaching staff changes to be finalized. Then I’ll completely be relieved. At this juncture, I do not want to lose any of our coaches, especially Malzan.
