ESPN: Auburn Will Be New Number One In BCS
ESPN BCS guru Brad Edwards said on SportsCenter a few hours ago that according to his calculations, Auburn is likely to be ranked number one when the new BCS rankings are released this evening.

Unbelievable.
This is great news, but it is also scary news. If its true, we’ll be number one and going on the road next week…it never ends.

BREAKING NEWS: ESPN has several sources reporting that the University of Alabama's 1st string waterboy will be declaring himself eligible in the 2011 NFL draft. He projects as WR with 4.29 speed and a vertical of 12....feet.
The team gets to bask in glory for one day. Then it’s back to the meat grinder to get ready. Every game is a potential pitfall. Ole Miss might rise up and bite us in the hind parts if we ain’t lookin. And Georgia seems to have found some muscle and guts lately. Never take them lightly.

I have faith in our defense to find something down deep which propels them to make plays when we really need a stop. There was some awesome defense in the LSU game.

Team that gets upset at home by FBS team goes on to upset the best team in all the land. Its like a constant cycle of jinxes and treachery. Knock on wood guys!

One game at a time
I hope the coaches instill this philosophy in our team. We CANNOT look ahead to any games besides the one directly in front of us. Arky did a great job of beating Ole Miss. We SHOULD be able to handle them. Masoli can throw the ball, though. If we let up and think we can take it easy, it’s definitely upset territory.
Once these Tigers prove they can handle the pressure placed upon them, I’ll believe.
Out of curiosity, I looked up BCS Championship tickets today. The cheapest right now are upper deck corner seats at arond $650-700. $1900 for 45yd line tickets. Not to include airfare, hotel, food, etc. Talk about the trip of a lifetime…. It’ll take you one to pay all that back! Haha

are feeling it today, I’ll bet you. That was a physical marvel. This is the part of the year that gets dicey with injuries and whatnot but the good news is that other teams are beat up now also.
What an amazing game we played. All I heard was LSU’s defense and LSU’s run game blah, blah, blah. We showed up and put an end to that jawing. Now I hope the hype machine doesn’t get into our players minds and screw things up. Chizik seems to have a steady hand with things like this. He knows there’s still a lot of football to play. As far as I’m concerned, if that LSU game was the high water mark for our team, I am still extremely proud. I am cautiously raising my expectations of what this team can do.
