Robert Gibbs' Rubs Iron Bowl Win in the Face of Joe Scarborough
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs had a little fun on MSNBC's Morning Joe program today. Gibbs grew up in Auburn and is a huge Tiger fan. Scarborough is an Alabama graduate. The Iron Bowl references last until about the 1:40 mark on the video.

Fac me cocleario vomere!
Gibbs a huge Tiger fan? Not like any I’ve ever known. Ever!!!
I’ve never seen anything so timid and awkward in all my life.
Scarborough looks more comfortable talking about Auburn than Gibbs … and, Scarborough is a bammer to the bone.
Gibbs is completely green around the gills … and, comes off as a nerd who wants to join in with some manly sports smack but has no idea what to say.
How embarrassing!
Whatever your agenda is, Mr. Gibbs, it is certainly not Auburn. Please Mr. Gibbs, just do us all a favor, and keep Auburn out of it.
Oh come on if the dude grew up an AU fan then he's an AU fan.....
I would have gone to bammer if my grades hadn't been good enough to go to AU
Yea
Even I have newfound respect for him.
An Auburn victory in Tuscaloosa, a SEC championship AND a national championship are defintely NOT part of 'The Process'.

I just
give any Auburn person a general ‘pass’ with the enmity if I don’t agree with them. Cynthia Tucker, the Editor over at the AJC is an alumna, and I certainly don’t agree with her politics, but I refrain from having open hostility towards her for that reason.
YOU, on the other hand, could be the exception. :-)

Q1: What do your political biases against Ms Tucker — even if you have decided not to act on them — have to do with this discussion?
Q2: Exactly what did you see in the video — that Jay Coulter decided to post on this blog — that brought forth this ‘newfound respect’ in you for Mr. Gibbs? I’m curious. No politics, please.
Wait
A1: You said ‘no politics’ but ask me what my political biases are. Let's assume that Mr. Gibbs does have a bit more on his plate
than the average SEC fan. He gets a pass from me if he happens to be
a bit of a novice in how to talk smack. Let the loud-mouth Bummers due that.
Speak softly and carry a big stick works for me.
Well, maybe it's better
to at least be a “meek and mild” AU fan than to simply pretend you don’t care and/or hide the fact that you’re a fan.

it could be some one trying to stir the pot or it could be legit. Like I said, every thing in the comment column was copied and pasted so take it how you will.
