Auburn degree worth
I suppose it depends upon WHO is doing the hiring. An Alabama graduate or an Auburn graduate as to whether or not you get the job or not. If you do, the Auburn degree is worth more.
Chip on Shoulder
Why do land grant schools always feel the need to prove their existence? Reading these posts reminds me of Texas A&M and how they always feel the need to compare themselves against Texas. Auburn calls Alabama UAT. In Texas, Aggies call Texas t.u.
Same thing goes with Oklahoma and OK State, Kansas and K State, Ole Miss and MSU, North Carolina and NC State, etc. Throw the word “State” or “Polytechnical” at the end and suddenly the entire student body and alumni suffer from poor self-esteem.
I’m sure that if it’s a serious illness Auburn alums can go find a graduate from the Auburn Medical School. If it’s fatal, write up your estate plan with someone who went to Auburn’s Law School.
What? Auburn doesn’t have a law school or medical school? Hmmm. Might want to look at those salaries once again….farmer.

what a pathetic fart. UAB does have a fantastic Medical School but last time I checked it was not part of the Tuscaloosa campus and as far as lawyers go some of my best friends are Lawyers who graduated from AU only to go on to some of the best Law Schools in the country…….jackass.
I would have gone to bammer if my grades hadn't been good enough to go to AU

my own failure at comedy in an attempt to point out the ridiculousness of using college degrees to assert superiority
the old “my college degree is better than your college degree” argument is the dumbest thing in college sports – it’s a higher education, getting one regardless of the football team that was also at the school – is a good thing
If you are having to attack a persons education instead of attacking their team, it usually means that the your football team hasn’t been doing so well
