Good read. I Always appreciate Acid's perspective.
Acid I particularly like your comments on the 1983 season. I agree with your take on being left out of the 2004 BCS game. However, in ’83 we played the toughest schedule in the nation as scored by the NY Times computer ranking, yet were left out of a piece of the NC.
Then one of the excuses floated by the media for being left out of the 2004 BCS game were computer rankings showing a schedule not quite tough enough (ie the Citadel). Go figure uh ?
Reminds me of the old HE HAW song, " If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all."
