Sports Ilustrated Names Lutzenkirchen and Clark All-Americans

Sports Illustrated released their All-American Teams on Tuesday. Auburn Tight End Philip Lutzenkirchen and punter Steven Clark were both named to SI's Honorable Mention All-America Team.
Clark, an All-SEC Selection was also named on Monday to the First Team on Pro Football Weekly's All-American Team.
Lutzenkirchen, a second Team All-SEC selection, holds the Auburn touchdown record for tight ends with 14 and holds the single season record with seven TD's for this season. In addition, he is tied for third place in the nation for touchdowns among tight ends.
The junior from Marietta, Ga. is third on the team in receiving with 24 catches for 238 yards and seven touchdowns, a stat that ranks him third on the team in scoring for this season. He has three game-winning touchdown receptions on his career and also helped block for an Auburn ground game that racked up 2,097 yards this season for the fourth best rushing attack in the SEC.

seeing Lutzenkirchen get the recognition he deserves. He’s been one of the few bright spots in this year’s passing game.
He’s a hell of a tight end, and I’ll be sorry to see him go when the day comes. At the very least, there’s a pretty strong chance you’ll see him on Sundays.
