I realize only putting up 52 on a weak USF team isn’t overly impressive, but they were playing some great defense and had the opportunity to blow this game open much wider. There were a lot of missed layups and easy scoring opportunities. If they can clean up their play and capitalize on those opportunities they have the chance to really compete this year. They also shot a surprisingly good FT percentage last night. This team going into the contest was close to last in the NCAA and hit their first 10 on the night before they had a miss. Bravo.

Like in we made most of them last night. 83.3% or 15 of 18 is a major improvement over the last 10 years or so.
