I'll Prove That I'm An Idiot - John Cooper
In case you have missed the scuttlebutt this morning, former Ohio State Buckeye Coach John Cooper has pointed fingers at the SEC in it's entirety, as a conference of cheaters. As witnessed by these completely astonishing remarks...
"I see some of these teams, the Auburns. I’m told, I don’t know and I haven’t coached in that league, but I’m told that down south the Alabama’s and LSUs and some of these teams that have these great players, that maybe the NCAA needs to look into their situation. Those teams have been on probation. As you know, Alabama’s certainly one of the most penalized teams in college football, as is the Southeastern Conference. We say the SEC’ the best and they are the best, but they’ve also had more NCAA violations than probably all the other leagues put together the last 10 years."
and...
"They don’t have many skilled quarterbacks. I thought Alabama’s quarterback last night was OK. I thought LSU’s was awful and I don’t know if there’s another good quarterback, maybe the young kid at Georgia. But I don’t know if there’s another good quarterback in the whole league."
This is a prime example of extreme ignorance, provided by one of the B1G's village idiots. It's one thing when a fan spews stupid, another entirely different matter when key figure, or a former one at least proves their complete and total ignorance of actual facts.
Now that the bubble has burst on the Big 10, and their marquee programs have been exposed as scandalous as any ever in the history of college football, their way of showing that they will right their sinking ship is to point fingers and cry wolf. PATHETIC!
Check your facts old man, or shut the hell up! That is all.

When I read this headline on another site.
I just assumed that Urban Meyer was running his mouth again.
At least nobody from the SEC...
…ever was dumb enough to try to hide a federal investigation from the NCAA. I thought those Big 10 schools were supposed to be full of smart guys. I guess when the NCAA turns a blind eye to 10 years of using car dealerships to recruit kids, you get cocky. I’ll never forget how Pryor was committed to WVU, then seemed to switch to Michigan when RichRod switched jobs, with Penn State always lurking due to the hometown connection, only for Ohio State to get him out of nowhere. This kid was picking between Chip Kelly and Rich Rod, the two best spread coaches of all time, and his home town program, and then JIM THE DINOSAUR TRESSEL gets him without anyone ever even thinking Ohio State was in the picture. Yeah Cooper, the SEC is the place where all the skullduggery happens.
Anyway, if he’d said anything about how everyone on Bama’s defense looks like a 1980’s WWF pro wrestler, then he’d have had a point. Instead he just opened his mouth stepped in a bucket of dumb.

Stepped in a bucket of dumb
I will be giggling about that line for days.
Now that the statue/altar/shrine is up, is it in Sabans contract that he gets to take it with him when he leaves?
Sour grapes...
…from the coach who couldn’t beat Michigan.

no surprise
with 6 consecutive bcs titles, this type of complaining is to be expected.

I love that in the picture
Several of the buckeye stickers are moneybags.
Others look like tattoos, perhaps. It’s certainly enough to make me want to suggest that:
the Wisconsins up there I’m told, I don’t know and I haven’t coached in that league, but I’m told that up north the Michigan State’s and OSUs and some of these teams that have these great players, that maybe the NCAA needs to look into their situation.
And of course:
Those teams have been on probation
Yup, just like Ohio State. Then again, maybe I’m being uncharitable. Some teams aren’t on probation and never run afoul of the NCAA’s byzantine restrictions and bylaws regarding student-athlete eligibility.
Take Penn State, for example.
but they’ve also had more NCAA violations than probably all the other leagues put together the last 10 years."
Well, I dunno…as Ohio State’s disaster spiraled out of their control, I think the ship sailed on that mathematical possibility. At least they’ve got Gene Smith at the helm to right the ship. Oh—
But I don’t know if there’s another good quarterback in the whole league.
Yeah. There’s a lot of shit you apparently ’don’t know’. I don’t know shit about Sun Belt quarterbacks, so I sure as hell ain’t runnin’ my mouth about it publicly.
He didn’t (couldn’t) even name McCarron and/or Jefferon (or Lee). “the young kid at Georgia?” Twenty bucks says this ass can’t even name three other quarterbacks, let alone know shit about their quality of play.
But I don’t know if there’s another good quarterback in the whole league."
Yeah, the guy that coached such quarterback talent as Joe Germaine (I can haz NFL career?) and Stanley Jackson really oughta’ be casting stones.
This can’t even piss me off, it’s so asinine.
"The ball will be spotted at the six-inch-yardline."
Something we can all agree on.
I don’t see how any SEC fan could pull for Big 10 or ND.

I'll take the Cam Newton's and LSU's bar fight
over being Sandusky’d any day of the week and 200 times on Sunday. Dear Mr. Cooper, take off shoe, insert in mouth.
