Blake Anderson Joins Former Boss @UNC
We learned earlier this evening, and waited for the official announcement, and here it is....
Blake Anderson, the former OC at Southern Miss was rumored to be a candidate for the Auburn OC position.
We can now officially take the name of Blake Anderson off the search list. Frankly, after watching the USM Bowl game performance, I can't say I'm disappointed.

I wonder why the dude from TAMU's name hasn't been mentioned.
He ran a version of Malzahn’s offense, and TAMU had a very good year offensively, plus he’s out of a job now, but since I can’t find his name who knows if he has a new job yet.
Also like Philip Montgomery from Baylor
Watching their bowl game, i thought the plays and playcalling were very imaginative. More that just RG3 improvising.
Pshew......
I’m hoping for an announcement by the weekend, but I won’t hold my breathe. As long as it’s not Ron Zookers for DC or Mike Shula for OC, I’ll be kewl….

After watching the bowl game...
I am breathing a sigh of relief.
This guy would be have been in over his head at AU.No offense Mr. Anderson… but you look more like a “NEO” than an offensive coordinator.
The SEC is for big boys.
WDE
Look folks...
you can’t judge a coach by ONE bowl game. That’s really not a fair assessment of a coach or how effective his scheme really is during a whole season. That said, I didn’t want Blake Anderson not no way not no how! He was not ready for BIG BOY football like we play down here. He needs to go have fun in that weak ACC conference. We’ll stay right here where they play tough hard nosed and most of all FAST football. War Eagle! Montgomery is a great choice!
It's Auburn against the world. Good luck world.
