…..Frankly I think the biggest difference is that the more simplified scheme allows the players to become more expert at it. How many times the last three years did we see players out there that didn’t seem to know what they were supposed to do? “Hey coach, I had my gap! I think…” You’ve only got 20 hours a week for two short camps a year to teach ’em.

Leave it to the Corn Dogs to fall apart right when it counts. Les Miles looked lost from the start of the game. I swear if there was grass available… he would have probably collected his thoughts and pulled his head out of his fourth point of contact.

Check this out:
bama’s team may be reloading… but with an untested team. Richardson will leave for the NFL. That leaves Lacy as the only firepower they have. I know their receivers shined tonight… but that doesn’t mean it happens next year.
Still…. think about the other team that has dominated the West: LSU. This loss I think is so embarrassing… they can’t ignore it. I think LSU falls apart next season from the shame. And I think we see the decline of the mad hatter. He’s just mad. Not a genius. He totally underwhelmed this game. Saban had him from the opening kick off.
My point is this: LEVEL PLAYING FIELD.
We know we got a stand up guy leading our defense. Depending on who we get as an O-coordinator… we could be once again the dark horse in the West.

Personal biases aside, this was probably the most boring NC game I’ve ever seen. It was over midway through the second quarter. Did LSU even crack 100 yards total offense?

Pitiful. I can’t believe how unbelievable unprepared LSU was for this game. They saw early on the option wasn’t going work. It appeared they made no adjustments to what bama was doing defensively. And punting down 21 points late in the fourth quarter?!?!?! WTF
I have to tip my hat to Bama. I thought they did a great job with their passing game and their defense was lights out. I know points wis, the USC Chokelahoma game was a bigger blowout, but this was the most dominating performance in a championship game I’ve seen in my life time.

Congrats to Bama
Watching them win it all stung a lot more two years ago when we were starving for some success on the national stage. We had our fun in 2010 and we’ll be back soon, I feel pretty confident about that seeing the way our program is heading. While I am FAR from a Bama fan, it’s cool to see them keep it in our state for a 3rd straight National Championship, something that has never happened. Let’s hope our Tigers get in there next year to make it 4. I think it would be cool for one of the two teams to win it all of my years in Auburn…
