I wouldn't call this final just yet....
It looks like we will be adding J. Diamond sometime this evening and we are still very much in the mix for A. Kozan and S. Diggs. We could finish as high as 6th or 7th if we land all 3.
What makes you so sure about Diamond?
I saw where its down to AU, Wisconsin, and maybe one more, but I didn’t read that we were the favorite. I highly doubt we land all 3, but 2 or even 1 of these guys would be great.
An insider on another site....
is very confident and Diamond was quoted as saying that he would inform the teams of his decision yesterday. He is announcing at his senior banquet tonight, which starts at around 8 pm est, but prob won’t make the announcement until 9-9:30.
That's right..
Prosch counts toward the 25/85 limits, but not in the rankings as to new recruits.

best of luck to you guys on these last guys!
Roll Tide and see you in November!
What the hell is an aluminum falcon?
I hope some of these OL can play defense!!
Overall the class is very good, we just didn’t get any help where we DESPERATELY need it. We need a thumper in the middle of the defense in the WORST way, both on the line and at linebacker.
This is very frustrating to me because I think that is the only thing that is holding back this defense. We have a great core of young and athletic DB’s and added some more missile seekers this year. OLB and DE should be capable and strong contibutors but having a dominant presence in the middle would make them SOOOO much better.
Depth at D Tackle isn’t bad but we’re HOPING that somebody is going to grow into a beast. LB depth is going to be and issue for the forseeable future as we can’t seem to get more than a couple of players a year to commit to us…..I just don’t get it.
I love the smell of Auburn in the autumn.....it smells like....victory.
I can't argue with the need for a monster MLB...
If Jake Holland gets injured again, we may be in a weakened position there.
The other thing is about the defensive tackle position. Remember Fairley blossomed over the course of one year of Yoxercise.

We are still hurting really badly at linebacker for the moment. It remains to be seen how our linebackers will play. Owens needs to stop being yet another defensive lineman and we need to move him to linebacker. That’s where the kid needs to play. Our defense line is weak right now. We needed some big time recruits at defensive tackle. We got a couple, but we whiffed on more than we got. I don’t think Pelton’s a good recruiter. Grimes has been bringing in top offensive linemen every year. Pelton just couldn’t seem to close the deal with any of the close battles. I think for a time Goldman was Auburn’s to lose, Pelton just could not close the deal. I love how the class finished, but I would have liked to see more defensive linemen, especially more defensive tackles. Auburn closed the deal time and time again on the offensive line, but on the defensive line and linebacker, they just couldn’t seal the deal. How we didn’t get Kwon when LSU got so many linebackers in that class is a mystery to me.
I think I might have an idea as to what’s going on there. First of all, we’re competing with Saban and Sunseri was there with the linebackers until this year and that’s just in our own state. Combine that with the recruiting class were just about every site said we had the number one linebacker class in America, it’s no wonder kids are going elsewhere to play linebacker. I expect Auburn to pick up big time linebackers next season with VanGorder as our DC instead of Ted Roof. I really think Roof hurt our linebacker recruiting the last three years.
Also, PLEASE GET LOLLEY OFF THE COACHING FIELD!!! Yes, we need his connections. No, we don’t need his coaching. Enough is enough, it’s obvious he doesn’t get the job done. Pelton, we need you to come through next season in recruiting. You already lost Bigelow to USC so please so us something. Grimes is recruiting circles around you right now.
It's Auburn against the world. Good luck world.
On Owens...
I meant yet another defensive end. When I’m saying defensive lineman, for the most part, I’m referring to defensive tackles except when I mentioned Owens that was a mistake on my part. We need Owens to stop trying to be a defensive end and we need him to move back to linebacker. I don’t care if he likes it or not. Also, I’m not sure that Jake Holland will be able to ever finish a season healthy at Auburn. He’s seems a bit injury prone when you look at the list of injuries he had last season. I know LP is the full back, but they really might want to try him some at defensive tackle. He could add some physical depth. The kid is not a bad athlete. He just is having a rough time of it out there. Sometimes kids just have to put that behind them and keep working hard. I have said this a 1000 times and I will say it AGAIN, Craig Sanders needs to spend some time as a linebacker. He would be incredible as a linebacker. What could it hurt in a meaningless game?!?!? Stop being so stubborn and just try it a couple of times.
