No. 2 Auburn Men’s Golf Team Picked to Win the Southeastern Conference.
Golfweek.com, announced Tuesday that the Tigers were picked to finish No.1 in the SEC ahead of two other top-10 teams in No. 6 Arkansas and No. 8 Alabama.
The Tigers have been rated as having the hardest schedule in the country with a Sagarin rating of 71.19, and are ranked second in the nation behind No. 1 Texas.

Auburn Primed to be National Signing Day Champs

All-American Fullback Transferring to Auburn
Jay Prosch has transferred to Auburn from Illinois. Prosch, who was an all-state prep player at UMS-Wright in Mobile, was named first-team All-American by Pro Football Weekly and won academic All-Big Ten honors. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
He is transferring to be near his mother in Mobile who has brain cancer.
Patrick Miller Flips Commitment to Auburn- Enrolls Early.
Miller is a four star tackle from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. He enrolled today (1-12-11) in Auburn. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound tackle had been an LSU commitment.
He is Auburn’s 16th commit for 2012 and the fourth player of Auburn's 2012 class to enroll for the spring quarter.

According to the Falcons' head coach Mike Smith, his defensive coordinator is headed to the Plains.
Hasina Muhammad Named SEC Freshman of the Week
Auburn’s Muhammad has been named the Southeastern Conference Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week.
The honor is her first and the Auburn Women's first such honor since Cassie Moore was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Feb. 3, 2008.
Muhammad, a native of Memphis, Tenn., earned the honor after her performance last week at the New York Life Holiday Tournament. She averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds to help the Tigers to a third-place tournament finish.

Dyer out for Chick-Fil-A Bowl against Virginia
"Auburn sophomore running back Michael Dyer is suspended for the Chick-fil-A Bowl on New Year's Eve against Virginia, sources told AuburnSports.com. The reason for the suspension is not clear at this time. "
