Saban Nation?

This college football season has been interesting to say the least. But, I have to go on record about a couple of things......Enjoy

If any of you have ever listened to Paul Finebaum, you know where this is going. The man is a a paid "Propagandist" for the University of Alabama. The Bammers have spent good money spreading their propaganda this year. All year, I have heard that Tuberville is afraid of Nick Saban and cannot recruit against him, that the "Tide" has turned against Auburn, and that, as Auburn people, we should not look forward to great things in the future because Nick Saban is in Tuscaloosa. All I am hearing is negativety against Auburn. Isn't this the same BAMMER NATION that couldn't get anyone tot ake the job for a month? Then, pull millions out to pay a guy to win at whatever the cost?
In the case of the "Chop-Block" incident, yes! I am sorry that it happened. I believe it was intentional, but I support Chaz and Lee. They made a mistake and people should let it go. Last year, Miles bitched about the bad officiating against his LSU team. This year, he gets some HUGE breaks and all he can do is accuse Tubs of dirty coaching. When, in the nine years at Auburn, have you ever seen an Auburn player do something like this? The answer is never! I am offended and disgusted by this man. If it wasn't for all those players that play in the SEC(on LSU) I'd wish LSU nothing but bad luck. They have a TOPNOTCH classless coach and I hope he gets his. I digress....I wrote some negative things earlier in the year when I was angry. I apologize for the words that I wrote. Tubberville, has proven to me that he does in fact care. Now, do I believe he will stick around for next year? I don't know, but my gut tells me that this is it for him. Whether I am right or wrong we will have to see. Anyways, I too, am proud of what this young team has done. I believe that there may be another loss before the year is over, but I know that there is a future here. So, to all Auburn fans, keep your heads up. After all, Finebaum is merely a critic and not a true journalist and that his word means nothing in the grand scheme of things. We are Auburn. We control our future. Our neighbor to the north has sold their souls to win football games(against us of all things), so let's keep doing what we have been doing. The Saban Nation??? It won't last!

War Eagle!

I'm assuming you read the troll's latest column this morning, extolling yet again the concept of Tubs fleeing the state like a little sissie now that Nick's in control.

This column made a thread over at fanblogs.com, where I like to hang out defending the Auburn faith.

Most neutral opinions are that it just doesn't make sense.  Some of the Bammers are eating it up, though, but not all.

  • Tuberville leave? (none / 0)

I highly doubt it. In fact there's no reason for him to. Why would you think otherwise?

  • Tubs gone? (none / 0)

Now, I don't believe TUBS will leave, but if he does...I would hope Auburn would upgrade Muschamp and have him take the reigns. The team needs to get fired up and Muschamp is the only one doing it on the sidelines. In no way am I saying Tubs should leave, but just if....

By the way, we need to worry more about Muschamp leaving then Tubs leaving...that's all I am saying...

Oh and one more thing...something that has frustrated me since the Tubs reign. Why play like a ranked team when we play ranked teams, and an unranked team when we play unranked teams? We need to be more consistent. If we can put up 24 points vs. LSU, we need to be putting up 50 against OLE Miss and the other teams... 110%...that's how I grew up playing...not 110 here and 50 there...
