It's been reported that Tubby has extended his contract today. "Lowder trying to get Petrino, the sequel" just doesn't fit in my mind. Tubby's gonna be around a long long time.

Tubby aint going no where. he plays the kind of football fans around here love. tough hard nose football. the defense is consistent year in and year out. the offense may not have been up to par this year but hell your going to have those years sometimes.especially with a team that play like 25 or so freshman. 8-4 is a alright season, including wins over Florida, a shutdown game against Darren Mcfadden's Ravorbacks and o yeah Tubby beat his in-state rival for the 6th straight year. anybody who wants this man gone is an idiot.

Its no secret to any Auburn fan that Bobby Lowder is a control freak, egomaniac a**hole. He wants to run the show all the time and hates the fact that Tubbs wont allow him to. Tubberville loves Auburn and loves Auburn students and fans. I don't think he wants to leave the program, but if he does now or further on down the line it will have more to do with Lowder and other trustees who kiss Lowder's rear end than it will have to do with money or anything else. Tubberville is an great coach who has done amazing things for the school and the program, but certain people at the University still treat him like he should be happy that they are allowing him to stay. He gets no respect from a lot of the higher ups and you gotta wonder how long he will be willing to take that for. GO TO HELL BOBBY LOWDER. WAR EAGLE.

Ok, I feel better about this now. I have to listen to LSU fans all the time talk about these rumors, because some how they think they might be getting Saban back, lol. I had to Auburn fan's thoughts.

I personally don't think that tubberville is going anywhere. Now that's still to be resolved so I could be wrong. But as far as Auburn not requiring a buyout if tubberville goes to arkansas is a bunch of horses**t. That would be like saying well if we fire you youll get 6 million dollars but if you want to leave it won't cost you anything. So you can rule that out. Second of all petrino is not coming to Auburn he has made it clear he is staying at the falcons. Granted lowder may want him and lowder runs alot of things at the university I dont see that happening. But once again this is all speculation I could be wrong. I do think we need to be careful what rumors we jump on. Hell 3 weeks ago to listen to the media texas a & m was a done deal! Hell they never even called tubby. Whatever happens happens, but I dont think he is going anywhere.
